\u202f\u202f<\/span>Alexandra Gillespie<\/span><\/b> is Principal of the University of Toronto Mississauga, Vice-President of the University of Toronto, and Professor of English and Medieval Studies. Her research is concerned with medieval and early modern texts and books, especially the shift from manuscript to print; the global development of early book technologies; and digital and non-destructive scientific approaches to the study of premodern books.<\/span> She is the author of <\/span>Print Culture and the Medieval Author<\/span><\/i> (2006) and editor of, among other projects, <\/span>The Production of Books in England<\/span><\/i> (with Daniel Wakelin, 2011) and <\/span>The Unfinished Book<\/span><\/i> (with Deidre Lynch, 2020) and many other books as well as scientific articles.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
